Technical Sales Manager - Asset Integrity Norway

Oceaneering is searching for a Technical Sales Manager who will be responsible for promoting and selling Asset Integrity (AI) services to the Norwegian and Scandinavian on-/ and offshore oil & gas industry, as well as other suitable industries.

Our well known AI services include:

    • Inspection Management – High quality In-Service Inspection services utilizing well known, and cutting edge, NDT-methods both onshore and offshore for a number our clients’ assets.
    • Integrity Management – Innovative and experienced Risk and Reliability Management of our clients assets both on-/ and offshore.
    • Crane & Lifting – High quality Inspection, Third-Party Verification and Certification of all lifting equipment, cranes, LRS, containers/baskets and more for a number of clients throughout the Scandinavian market. 

In this role, you will be the lead figure in our drive and efforts to strengthen and increase our market shares throughout the Scandinavian market in close collaboration and interaction with Regional Manager, Service Line Managers and the Business Development team both in Norway and globally. You will be required to be able to aggregate and distil complex and diverse market data into information on which strategic decisions can be based and acted upon. You expect and realize your office location is wherever the leads and possibilities takes you in line with strategic goals and efforts.

The role will require local and international travel as required from the nature of the responsibilities in the role.

Requirements of qualification

  • College/University degree within Sales and Marketing or Business administration/economics, and an engineering technical field
  • Minimum 5 years’ documented experience selling engineering and AI services
  • Documented positive results from winning engineering and AI services bids in the oil & gas sector
  • Well founded and demonstrated current network within, and knowledge of, the AI industry/market in Norway and Scandinavia as a whole
  • High level of communication skills, verbal and written, in both the Norwegian and English language 
  • CRM experience is desired, but minimum IT skills within Google, Gmail, PowerPoint, Word and Excel are required
  • Valid passport
